Mark is someone who can be rightly called a veteran. He has had a diversified career in a number of different sectors including Telecommunications, Corrective Services, Recruitment and Advertising. He worked as the Executive General Manager of a division with 2500 staff members for a major international company offering facility services with and a turnover of $230 million. Mark has a Masters degree in Commence. Most recently, he worked as a Lead Assessor in ISO 9000 which compliments his university studies in Six Sigma, Kaizen and TQM.
He has been involved in a number of major IT and Process re-engineering projects and has also been a leader in projects in the Telstra Research Labs, Australia. In addition to all this, prior to Telstra Mark, he had worked on the design, construction, management and finance of a number of large Prisons in Australia (2 x 600 beds) and South Africa (2000 bed) and has even performed a number of Senior Operational Roles at Port Phillip Prison
